The Detroit Red Wings have developed and maintained a stacked roster of veteran players with an unbelievable amount of skill over the past several seasons. Pavel Datsyuk of course, is the most note-worthy with his brilliance and even wizardy with a 3″ vulcanized rubber disc, but other Red Wings have stepped to the plate in the last three to four seasons. Henrik Zetterberg showcased the Red Wings’ depth to the hockey world yet again, on Thursday night (Jan 12), with a beauty of a game-winning shootout goal against net-minder Mike Smith of the Phoenix Coyotes.
